Sports in Tilburg: 233 classes at 30 clubs and sports halls. Most of them are on Thursday and Tuesday, and 125 start at 17:00 or later, nicely after school. Ages run from 3 to 75, so there is something for the little ones as well as for older children, and 56 classes welcome grown-ups too. Prices are written in different ways: in the middle of the range about €47.80 a quarter, and at other places about €33 a month — so compare what one term covers.

A free trial lesson is normal here: 80 classes offer one, so your child can try before you decide. 10 classes are taught in English or with English help, which is good to know if Dutch is still new at home. Not every school writes everything down: 93 don’t give an age and 63 don’t give a time. We say so on the card instead of guessing.
