Swimming in The Hague: 597 classes at 50 pools, clubs and swim schools. Most of them are on Sunday and Thursday, and 241 start at 17:00 or later, nicely after school. Ages run from babies to 50, so there is something for the little ones as well as for older children. Prices are written in different ways: in the middle of the range about €23 a lesson, and at other places about €66 a month — so compare what one term covers.

A free trial lesson is normal here: 55 classes offer one, so your child can try before you decide. 36 classes are taught in English or with English help, which is good to know if Dutch is still new at home. Not every school writes everything down: 351 don’t give an age and 152 don’t give a time. We say so on the card instead of guessing.
