Art classes in The Hague

Art & crafts in The Hague: 216 classes at 32 studios and workshops. Most of them are on Wednesday and Tuesday, and 38 start at 17:00 or later, nicely after school. Ages run from 1 to 80, so there is something for the little ones as well as for older children, and 12 classes welcome grown-ups too. Prices are written in different ways: in the middle of the range about €170 for a whole course, and at other places about €15 a lesson — so compare what one term covers.

8 classes cost nothing at all. A free trial lesson is normal here: 26 classes offer one, so your child can try before you decide. 8 classes are taught in English or with English help, which is good to know if Dutch is still new at home. Not every school writes everything down: 131 don’t give an age and 77 don’t give a time. We say so on the card instead of guessing. Every line comes from the school’s own page, with the date we last checked it. Pick two that fit your week and go and have a look.
